Welcome to Lince. By accessing or using our platform and associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description & Non-Advisory Nature
Lince is a personal and household financial management software tool designed for budget tracking, transaction organization, and mathematical simulations of payroll and tax withholdings.
Lince is not a registered financial institution, broker, or accredited tax, legal, or investment advisor. All calculations and tax summaries (including IRPF and Social Security withholding estimates) are based on public mathematical formulas and provided solely for informational and personal planning purposes. You remain entirely responsible for your financial decisions and official tax filings with relevant authorities.
2. Multi-User Household Model & Emancipation
Lince offers individual plans (Solo) and multi-user family plans (Duo). In multi-user plans, the subscription holder serves as the household owner and may invite members or sub-users.
Each user owns their personal data and retains full individual rights under data protection laws.
Emancipation Guarantee (Option 2A)
If a household owner chooses to cancel or delete their account, active sub-users are safeguarded through the emancipation mechanism (Option 2A): their personal space and associated records are seamlessly transitioned into a standalone household under the Solo plan, ensuring continuity without data loss.
3. Security, Credentials & Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials, passwords, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) devices. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
You agree to use Lince only for lawful purposes and refrain from uploading malicious code, attempting to bypass security controls or quota limits, infringing third-party rights, or reverse engineering the software.
4. Limitation of Liability
Lince is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lince and its maintainers disclaim liability for any discrepancies between informative projections and final tax assessments, or temporary downtime due to maintenance or third-party infrastructure.
5. Changes & Account Termination
We may update these terms periodically to reflect software enhancements or regulatory developments. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
You may cancel your subscription or terminate your account at any time through the self-service tools within the application. The 34-day free trial is granted once per person/account holder. If you cancel your subscription or delete your account and later re-subscribe, your accumulated loyalty tenure resets and your subscription starts directly at Tier 1 (€9.99/month) without a new 34-day free trial.
